Sharp Families in London
CinemaItaliaUK every year chooses 12 between the best international movies and documentaries to show them to the english audience. This year the first screening of the festival will be Sharp Families, by Patrick Grassi, on the 16th of January at 7:30 pm.
Newly refurbished Cinema in Regents Street, on the site of the University of Westminster
The whole event will take place at Regent Street Cinema, an historical location for cinema and shows in West End, London.
The director and the protagonists will be there to intoduce the movie, with representatives of the knives-sharpeners community in London. Also the Italian Consul in London will be there as a special guest, to tell the great value that the italian knives-sharpner community has brought to the whole italian community in the UK.
During this special night, it will be presented !On the edge of emigration. The Journey of Italian knife-sharpeners”, in which Patrick Grassi deepens the question of migrations of knives-sharpners from italian Dolomites to England, America and Canada.
