Synopsis

In a large, empty room, Giuseppe Battiston embarks on an inner journey to understand the stories of three migrant women—Gladys, Nasreen, and Semhar—recounting their journeys, their sea crossings, and their lives in Italy. With the support of Marco Paolini and geographic maps, Battiston explores the causes, flows, and barriers associated with migration to Europe, transforming initial panic into a need for knowledge and listening.
