Butterfly Garden
Butterfly Garden is much more than a gardening workshop.
It not only means approaching to the rhythms of nature, but it is also a therapeutic and socializing tool. In the garden there are aromatic perennial plants: lavender, thyme, sage, curry plant, rosemary, hardy plants such as buddleja (butterfly bush) and annual flowers such as zinnias and cosmos.
The garden is cultivated with natural products, some of which are real natural products macerated in the classroom. Some plant diseases have been studied, the insects that are attracted by the plants as well as bees and butterflies.
The lab was activated a few years ago to build a path tailored to a disabled student. In the following years then it has been widened, maintaining the attention towards disability and to a sense of collective responsibility.
