Laguna Film Lab: Meet the 5 Selected

We received over 150 applications for this new edition of Laguna Film Lab, the creative documentary residency curated by ZaLab in collaboration with Giornate degli Autori.

Thank you to everyone who applied, sharing with us stories, visions and cinematic journeys.
The selection process was anything but easy – the level was very high and choosing just 5 participants proved to be a real challenge.

We’re happy to announce the 5 selected filmmakers who will take part in the residency in Chioggia between July and September 2025. Each of them will create a short film inspired by this year’s theme: FATAŁITÀ.
