Davide Crudetti

Davide Crudetti is a documentary filmmaker and documentary theatre director. Since 2017, he has been a member of ZaLab.

His film work includes Mingong (2016), which premiered at the Internazionale Festival in Ferrara; There Is Nothing Special Here (Qui non c’è niente di speciale, 2022), winner of the 16th Salina Doc Fest; and Communists (Comunisti, 2022), officially selected out of competition at the 40th Torino Film Festival.

For theatre, he created the cinematic elements for Libya. Back Home (Romaeuropa Festival ’19, Festival delle Colline) and Life Love Death and Revolution (Vita Amore Morte e Rivoluzione, Romaeuropa Festival ’22).

In 2023, he was responsible for the visuals of From Now On There Are Lions (Da Qui in Poi ci Sono i Leoni), a video installation presented at Romaeuropa Festival 2023.

Since 2016, he has worked as a participatory video and documentary film trainer for public and private institutions.
