Cinema Workshop: How to Tell Migrations
by Andrea Segre and Matteo Calore
How to tell the experience of migration through documentary and cinema?
In this workshop conducted by Andrea Segre and Matteo Calore, we’ll try to answer to this question, using all the tools of cinema: from the subject to the project, from shooting to editing. Participants will have the chanche to face a reality like Gorizia, in the middle of the Balkan Route, a border that lead many migrants to Italy.
How to tell the experience of migration, then? How to face the stories of migrants? How to appropriate the places of hospitality and denial?
