Sara Zavarise

Sara Zavarise (Padua, 1979) is a filmmaker and a film editor. She has  twelve years of experience working with several production companies for cinema and television.
She is the President of ZaLab, with whom she made documentaries and workshops of participatory video in Italy, Palestine and Australia.
She signed the editing of the films “The greatest dream” by Michele Vannucci (Kino Productions, Venezia73 – Horizons), “The first snow fall” (Venezia70 – Horizons) and “Shun Li and The Poet” (nominated for 4 David di Donatello, Lux Prize European Parliament) by Andrea Segre (Jolfilm Srl); “reCuiem” by Valentina Carnelutti (best short film at 31 ° TFF, Silver Ribbon in 2013, winning 21 ° Looks Elsewhere Film Fest, Studio Universal Award); “Indebito” by Vinicio Capossela and Andrea Segre; and many documentaries for ZaLab (“fuoriClasse“, “Limbo“, “Closed Sea“, “Green Blood“)
