New Directions – FuoriRotta call for 2017!
Two years after the launch of the first edition, the first invitation to travel unconventional promoted in Italy meet the protagonists of the second edition and re-launch the invitation to travel in a non-conventional way, looking for other horizons. The call is addressed to young people under 30 who want to travel and explore Fuorirotta during 2017.
Sunday, February 26, from 18.00 to 20.00, the Trento Film Festival will host at the Cinema Astra Multisala and Osteria the authors of the 17 travel awards in 2016, that will tell the stories, places, faces and discoveries of their adventures: the paths from grain sown in Europe for Kyrgyz landscapes, the trips made by migrants in the Mediterranean to sub-Saharian refugee community in Spain, the Ukrainian Soviet place names today to the old villages Italian Apennines. video projections, photographs and stories allow us to understand the true meaning of Fuorirotta trip and will stimulate new ideas and projects for the third edition of the call.
Fuorirotta this year is enriched with two important innovations: the Montura Prize, which consolidates the support given to the project by Montura since its born and aims to encourage the development of the four best projects from last edition, and the partnership with Trento Film Festival, which will accompany the new edition of the call, with shared projects and a space for travelers Montura awarded the Prize at the 65th edition of the Festival.

At the end of the ceremony, the authors of the project, Andrea Segre, Matteo Calore and Simone Falso, will present the guidelines of the new call.
